Welcome All Nurses
Soon after completing our Nursing Degree, we usually have this question, what is our next plan regarding job?
Many would like to join in a corporate hospital as staff nurses to gain experience for two years and fly abroad….
&
Many would like to start their carrier as Lecturers…..
&
Rarely some as medical coder……
Does anyone have better idea to settle in life soon after completing the course?
Well Of course, yes. By “The Nurse Academy” has it.
How? Let us see that,
Once you complete your Degree in Nursing, it will take some time for the provisional certificates to come from your university. Provisional certificate is essential to make registration with the State Nursing Councils. After this registration only you are a licensed Nurse that means legally you are allowed to practice as a Nurse in India.
90% of newly graduated nurses join in corporate hospital before they become registered nurses for low salary and after registration they are paid full salary that even surely not above 20000Rs/Month.
So what is the key idea to settle your life soon after completing course?
That is to not to join in any private hospital. Simply sit in your home and start preparation for the central government staff nurse examinations like AIIMS, JIPMER, ESI, RRB, etc.
Every year minimum 1000 Nurses Vacancies arise in the Central Government. These recruitment don’t require the Degree candidate to have clinical experience. Only thing you must be a registered a nurse with your state nurse nursing council at the time of applying examination.
So once completing the course, you have to decide, whether you want to be slave in the private hospitals for 15000Rs/month salary or a Group-B Nursing Officer for 65000Rs/month salary in the Central Government.
Now many will raise a question, why should I lose my salary without joining in private hospitals?
I also have a question, what is the salary for a fresher in the private hospitals for a month? Maximum 20000Rs/Month…… (If it is 20000Rs/Month, it would be a Guinness Record for the Hospital)
Let us take your monthly salary is 20000Rs/Month, if you prepare for 4 months, only 80,000Rs you are gonna give-up for your future. But once you become a Group-B Nursing officer your initial salary in hand is about 65000Rs/month…
In conclusion Until you become a Registered Nurse, be patience and prepare yourself for the competitive examinations. Once you become Registered Nurse apply for the central government exams that come, perform well and secure your placement.
Then the life is yours……
In the next post, Let us see How to prepare for the different Central Government Nursing Exams.
